Durham Beer Garden started with a simple observation: there were plenty of places to get drunk in Durham, but very few places that felt like your place. We wanted something different — a spot where regulars know the staff, where the tap list changes with the seasons, and where you can actually hear the person across from you.
We're not chasing trends or pushing overpriced IPAs in tasting flights. We pour what works — reliable drafts, solid local selections, and the occasional special that makes you glad you stopped in. The space is outdoors, the vibe is unhurried, and the door is always open.

The Beer
Rotating drafts from North Carolina's best breweries — plus a few surprises from further afield. Stouts in winter, IPAs in summer, lagers year-round. We keep it interesting without making it complicated.
The Food
We partner with local vendors and keep a rotating selection of snacks and meals that actually pair well with beer. Think proper burgers, flatbreads, and the kind of food you're happy to eat with your hands.
The Space
An outdoor beer garden in the middle of downtown Durham — string lights, wooden tables, and room to breathe. It's the kind of place where you'll stay longer than you planned and leave wishing you hadn't.
